We Are Open for Emergency Dentistry & All Dental Needs

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. We are all looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routine, however, normal will look a little different for a period of time.

May Re-Opening: We are excited to announce that Governor Walz signed an executive order on 5-5-20 allowing dental practices to reopen for elective services. Chalet Dental Care will have a soft reopening beginning Monday, May 11, 2020. In the first couple of weeks, the office will be running at about 30-40% of capacity per CDC & ADA. This soft opening includes a totally new schedule for doctors and hygienists.

Currently: Please watch the video above or read below to learn how everyone in the clinic is striving to serve our patients and St. Paul the very best way possible.

You Can Trust Chalet Dental Care is Safe

We have always cleaned and disinfected all elements of the clinic surpassing the highest standards required for TB and HIV, and now we have added the new CDC, ADA, and OSHA COVID-19 protocols on top of that. All of these changes are important to keep our patients and staff protected.

What to expect at your next visit:

Once you arrive at the office, please call the front desk. A staff member will ask you a series of health screening questions and then either ask you to come into the office or call you back when your doctor or hygienist is ready to see you. You will also be asked to wear a mask inside the building. Due to the limited amount of PPE we ask that you bring your own mask. If you forget a mask one will be provided for you. Once inside the office, you will be greeted by one of our office staff. The staff member will have you sanitize your hands, take your temperature using a forehead scanner and oxygen level using a pulse oximeter.

What to expect inside the office:

Inside the office, we are doing our best to keep a safe social distance.

We are only allowing our office to reach a 50-60% capacity.

Appointment start times are staggered.

We have installed 6 new HEPA Filtration Systems.

All of the rooms continue to be cleaned with a medical-grade disinfectant.

Our instruments are sterilized with the newest equipment.

All of the staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE.

Do I have an appointment or do I need to schedule a new appointment?

We have redone our entire schedule due to the fact that we are limiting the number of appointments. If you think you may have an appointment, please call the office to confirm the date and time. We may have to reappoint you. Appointments that were made after May 11th should be fine. To make up for missed appointments we have expanded our hours of operation to:

Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

We are doing our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. You can be assured safety measures at Chalet Dental Care will continue to evolve as more information comes forward. Thank you for understanding as we move through all this together, we look forward to welcoming you back.

Sincerely,

The Team at Chalet Dental Care
